Douglas Diary Autumn Hols
Bulletin # 4
Well, plan A is falling well into place now. Jan is doing very well, still of course sore and limited in mobility but every day there is improvement. (See photo today).
As you know she is staying with her sister near Oxford. We have bought her a second hand electric chair as the District Nurse who is attending to her requires her leg to be raised to reduce the swelling. The chair also helps to get her get vertical. She is arranging for a necessary course of physio therapy to get and keep her muscles working. She is receiving lots of visitors and support from family and friends also from a District Nurse. She is making good progress.
Douglas is missing her and asked me if he could write a bit of his diary and send a couple of photos and so I am handing this back to him.
Douglas here, hello and I am a bit confused I don’t know where my long haired one has gone. I keep looking for her in all the familiar places. My bearded one is looking after me well and I am looking after him. We have today (Sunday) just been for a very long walk together during a short dry spell of very wet weather. I was out with my family and with my friend Basil and his friend, both from the ginger Labrador tribe, see photo, they are not closely related, certainly not to me. I am I think a proud Bearded Andalusian Truffle Hound, or so my bearded one tells me.
Love Douglas x
