Douglas Diary Monday 12th October 2015
The Anchor pub last night was truly a magical place and must be the last of its kind, very refreshing, a little gem in the wilds of Shropshire.
My bearded one and I went on a lovely walk in the early morning mist as the sun was breaking through to reveal wall to wall blue sky, I loved it and I rolled in the frosty grass – one of my favourite things and a scruffy dog joined us on our walk and we became firm friends running up and down in a game of chase – one of my favourite things and when we got back to my long kennel I invited her in for breakfast! I think she belonged to a nearby farm.
We had a lovely cruise with only one lock but plenty of walks as it was such a lovely day my long haired one and Sheila walked with me a lot. We stopped for lunch at a pretty sheltered spot and after, although I got nothing, they decided to paint another picture and this of course was an opportunity for me to have a little sleep. Off again and we found a quiet mooring at Breewood just outside the the Bridge Inn. I was invited. Love Douglas
