Douglas Diary Saturday 12th April 2014. We left the river Seven and entered the river Avon last night in order to get to our moorings at Tewkesbury Marina. As we locked up onto the river we met Bob who was in charge and charmingly explained to my owners and friends all about the river as he relieved my bearded one of what he called loads of dosh whatever that means for my long kennel to be allowed onto the river Avon. Then we were berthed in the Marina, more dosh changed hands. Once settled the six humans and I went to The Boathouse where my bearded one met Mr Pedigree and I was allowed to sit with them while they ate their supper – I got nothing. This morning my bearded one and his friend David left us to fetch their little mobile kennels. One was in Wolverhampton and the other was in Kings Bromley, this took several hours while I stayed on my long kennel with my long haired one and friends. My long haired one is busy packing up and being busy, I know we are off soon in my short kennel. I understand we are going to suspend our cruise for a while. We must go to Hawkhurst to help look after my little humans while their Mummy goes to hospital. I will write again soon when I have some news. Sent from my IPad x
