Douglas Diary Friday 4th April 2014. ‘I had a bit of a lie in this morning, I could hear the rain on my roof and not much else except some gentle snoring coming from my owners cabin next door. Eventually there was some action and I took my bearded one for his usual walk. We set off quite late and moored up at a small town called Penkridge. Here they put more water into the two long kennels and the two long haired ones went provisioning. This is where I got into trouble again. I reluctantly stayed with my bearded one but I really wanted to go shopping with the long haired ones. When my bearded one was busy attending to our fire, with his back turned, I thought I would go and have a look to see if I could see see them. I couldn’t and so I went further and further in the direction that they had disappeared until I was lost. Next I heard my bearded one shouting my name, and then I saw him, he was clearly angry we were quite a long way from my long kennel but fortunately, he was on the other side of the water when he found me. I made a run for it and managed to get inside the long kennel belonging to our friends before he did. They comforted me. Sent from my IPad x
