‘Bit of a slow start this morning as it seems my owners were up late watching the Olympic opening ceremony last night on TV which they thought was amazing. I slept through it.
After breakfast for them and nothing for me we set off for Bilbao, just a short journey and we all had lunch, at least mine was a bit of a hamburger bun without the hamburger. Then I took my owners for a nice long walk to explore this exciting new town. Of course the Guggenheim exhibition centre was most interesting – rather strange I thought and my bearded one said that he would like some of the stuff that the architect was on when he designed it. He took some photos attached.
Later in the afternoon we moved to the port where there was a very large empty car park where I played chase the ball. This is a simple game where one of my owners kicks my toy rugby ball and I fetch it, they kick it, I fetch it, they kick it, I fetch it – they seem to enjoy that and so I try to please them but it is quite exhausting. After about a couple of hours of this, at about 6:00. In the evening a very large boat arrives and I think this is what we will be driving on to – see picture. So far we have driven just 1000 km. I am looking forward to another rest – one of my favourite things.
