Douglas diary 16th March 2014 I took my bearded one and his friend Jim who is staying next door with his wife Helen for their early morning walk and we saw the frogs, I like this bit. I chase around their pond and they jump and croak, today, I slipped and got my feet wet, actually, my tummy too, a bit embarrassing. We said hola to the donkey through the window of his bedroom he trumpeted his morning greeting back at us but we missed the goats today, they probably went out early.
It is one of those special days when the church bells ring in the morning and I just have to go out into the garden and join in, I can’t help it. I am not sure that everyone enjoys my singing because I usually get told to be quiet. I think I am going to have a rest because I heard them say they are going out for lunch with their friends. It is a lovely day and they did, I was not invited and I got nothing, they came home empty handed. However, when my long haired one came home after a while I took her for her very long walk right up to the ridge to see her friend Catriona. She lives very high. My picture today is of our village from only halfway up to her house. It was exhausting.
