Douglas’ diary 20th February 2014 This is the first for a long time, sorry about the absence. I would like to apologise as last year there were no entries, this was due to a hiatus with my owners who very selfishly were on holiday mostly without me and I cannot write on my own. It was alright though I had lots of fun sleepovers with friends. Anyway, today I played with them as they like to play Boules on Thursdays. When this happens, I get to play football as many of their friends kick the ball for me. I wait on a grassy bank and they kick my football out onto the beach, (uncle Alan does it best) I run and get it and drop it at someone’s feet, they kick it and I run and get it and drop it at someone’s feet. Oh it is such fun! Meanwhile they just lob silly metal balls along a small stretch of sand and don’t even run after them, ‘don’t see the fun in that!
Then there is lunch – for them! I just sit under the table and get nothing but it is better than being left at home I suppose and anyway by lunch time I am pretty tired.
I am attaching some photos from today, dig those big doggies they call oxen, they came to lunch too.
This is a test for my holidays that are coming up soon. I heard my owners talking and they said we are going to my long kennel in England in about a month from now, I got so excited. I wee’d.
Love Douglas xx
P.S. If you do not want to receive any of my diary entries (I will probably send two or three a week whilst we are travelling in my long kennel in April and May) please click on the necessary and I won’t bark at you again – ever!
