Day 27 Leeds and its raining.
They have decided that we will stay in Leeds for today for several reasons. The fact that it is miserable cruising weather is one reason the other being that Leeds needs exploring and another is that we have a very satisfactory mooring right in the centre where we have electricity (long haired one has already got the washing machine running) and we can replenish our water tanks as well.
We are moored right next to the Royal Armouries Museum. I think this means I will be on guard inside my long kennel, while they investigate. Bang on! They left me for a short while and have returned and told me to guard the kennel because they are going back!
Apparently, now that they have returned, The Royal Armouries Museum is very very interesting so they say. they have attended several lectures and have learned a lot of interesting things. My bearded one says that he has a friend that would just love it.
What they have not learned is how to turn the rain off. My walks today are very minimal although for a short dry spell I was able to teach the small ones how to play football with me in an open space by the museum. actually, they exhausted me – again!
In the afternoon, while it was still raining we had a visit from an old friend called Jim who has stayed with us in Spain. He came to see us at our mooring in Clarence Dock, It was very nice to see him again.
My pictures today are a very large armoured animal from India with very long front teeth (they showed me from the museum) I think this was one of their lectures. The other picture is me being used as a footstool by one of the little ones playing on his iPod.
