Douglas Diary Wednesday 9th April 2014 It was a spectacular dawn as we left Kinver, today our destination is Stourport on Seven. A very pretty stretch of our journey and just as much walking for me but I do like that. We stopped at Kidderminster for a quick lunch (for them). In the early evening we arrived at a huge basin by the River Seven where there were hundreds of long kennels. We were there because we are waiting to descend onto the River Seven which hopefully we will do in the morning. I am now seriously tired but I have checked out the area. The River Seven is running quite fast this will assist us on our journey to Worcester, our next stop tomorrow. We hope that the authorities will not stop us leaving in the morning, the river is apparently a few inches too high. The traffic light is red at the moment which means we cannot go anywhere, it has been like that for much of today, we think this is due to the amount of rain over the last week or so and hope that now we have a dry spell there will be no problem tomorrow.
