Douglas Diary Autumn Hols
Bulletin # 5
First of all my bearded pet would like to say a few words.
Andrew here: A huge thank you to you all for your help, support and messages so very gratefully received by Jan and myself.
It has been an amazing journey from the day of the accident that happened on the evening of Friday 27th September, just over three weeks ago. I am happy to report that Jan is doing well, still of course she is dependent on two crutches and most importantly her wonderful sister and brother in law with whom she is staying and who are caring for her.
We are all very hopeful that the three of them will be making the journey to Spain hopefully early in November.. The date has to be decided on doctor’s advice. I will let you know by these bulletins as soon as we know.
Thank you again I am passing this back to Douglas
Andrew
My journey back was interesting. We travelled on the huge kennel across the ocean which was a bit bumpy, I did not enjoy some of that and my bearded one and his eldest son drove my short kennel through Spain, I slept most of the way and so I can’t tell you much about that part of the journey. A few days after we arrived home, we had some friends to visit us and I was given lots of treats, I think they thought I looked sad, I was a bit. They made me feel much better. They also bought treats for my bearded one they called it gin they all seemed to like that.
I don’t know where my long haired pet has got to, I haven’t seen her in over three weeks, I don’t much like that! My bearded pet agrees.
My bearded pet tells me that I will see her again soon, I know she is alright somewhere because he tells me so. I am back at home now in Moclinejo with him, my beaded one. I am waiting for her by my gate, as I do. See photo today.
Love Douglas
