Rumour has it that I accidentally hit my paw on the wrong button and you might have received a test email allegedly from me – sorry that was him. Well here we are again, I am in my long kennel now preparing to leave for another adventure this evening. I am spending most of the day sleeping in the lovely sunshine. My long haired one is so busy with her mop and bucket and my bearded one has got his head down in the engine room which just happens to be my bedroom. A human friend called Peter arrives this evening and then apparently we start our journey. We are going to Stratford on Avon wherever that is and apparently it will be four weeks before we come back here.
There are some very large white feathered creatures nesting next to my long kennel where we are moored in Kings Bromley Marina. They do not like me getting too close because they are taking it in turns to sit on eight huge eggs. When we return here in about four weeks there should be some new residents on my little island here in the Marina.

Sent from my IPad or his actually, I borrowed it.
Hi Douglas –
Nice to know you are back in a sensible country again. I look forward to reading about your adventures over the next few weeks although I am going to have a very lonely time next week as my Mum and Dad are going away. Sylvie-something from next door will come in to feed me but she’s not very interesting or interested in me and thinks I am only a cat!
Mum says to tell your bearded one and long-haired one that there is a pile of their medications blocking up my bedroom so I hope you will collect them sometime. Please also give your bearded one a good lick from me on his birthday. Mum says there are two birthday cards waiting here too.
Just to tell you that ‘Fockus’ is really not very well at the moment – but I’m pleased about that.
See you when you come this way –
Love & scratches

Nice to hear that you are back Douglas. Looking forward to reading your news.
Hey, great to hear from you,do hope that you are not too cold, but your minders have the fire lit so that will be nice. We are at Audlem, do you remember we came here about two years ago. It is still lovely and the Shroppie Fly has been “done up” all very posh but still nice and homely with good grub. Tomorrow we are going up that great big flight of locks, wish you were here to share it with us, See you soon for big licks and cuddles, xx
Hi Bruv, we are following your travels – sounds very exotic but not impressed with the ‘one crisp under the table’ trick ! You need to train your carers better – last night all five of us, ‘cos your mum is here, (sends big lick) had remains of baked potato wrapped round tuna – yum – we didn’t actually taste it but it went the right way. Now you have gone the weather is good but we are being jumped on by this years ticks on the mountain. Take care – don’t jump off any bridges……………….
