Douglas Diary Tuesday 8th April 2014
At last a beautiful day, blue sky everywhere and the birds are singing. This morning we leave our mooring at Bratch Locks quite early and head south towards Tewkesbury which is a few days away. My long haired one’s sister Maureen and her husband David have joined us for a few days. We have had to modify our planned route to Stratford. We have booked Albert into a safe mooring in Tewkesbury as we have a family emergency and we will be suspending our cruise, in a few days time for a short while. I will however continue to write my diary to keep you informed of what is going on but this may not be every day once we leave my long kennel next Saturday. Our destination today after about six hours cruising or in my case walking is the lovely historic town of Kinver.
