I took my carers on a circular three and a half mile hike before breakfast from our mooring at Elkington wharf. We set off at 07:00 which was pretty early. Anyway as we walked along the river bank there were some large black animals in a field, I suspect they were bullocks, I thought I would investigate and then WOW electric fence, boy did that hurt. As you know, I am a boy dog, a girl might just have got away with it their undercarriage has a different profile. The trouble here was that now I was on the inside and no way was I going to get back through the fence to my carers. Big problem, solved eventually by a gap I found, I’m not doing that again. We set off after breakfast (a bonio) for a two hour run to Tewkesbury, after about ten minutes the heavens opened and I went inside and left my bearded one to it. He didn’t seem to enjoy the short journey much. My long haired one had to get towels and stuff to get him dry. We found a mooring in the town and the sun came out and we all enjoyed more walks in the beautiful spring sunshine. I didn’t go near any fences. We decided we would stay a while in the pretty town. My picture today, OMG don’t you just love grass!
