I am really sorry not to have managed my normal one a day posting to my diary. The truth is I have been so busy running around this green grassy place, chasing rabbits and squirrels these last three days that when I am not doing that I am sleeping, exhausted. My bearded one and my long haired one have also been running around a fair bit too, not trying to catch squirrels but doing human things and getting his exhibition ready which had an official opening today that is (Saturday)at The National Trust Centre, in Birling Gap. I did not attend the opening. Actually, neither did anybody else! Not strictly true that is to say only a few friends came, my long haired one told me, just a handful of the faithful. My bearded one did not seem perturbed he said there were a lot of people looking. We have since heard that quite a few friends have now been to see it and liked it. There was much comment overheard in many languages and he thinks it was all favorable. He did not seem displeased.
My photo today is where I have been staying with my bearded one’s sister and you can see where the squirrels live, but we left there today and are now at Hawkhurst with my friend Basil another picture today. He is so energetic but he is still only a young boy.
Tomorrow we start off to my long kennel aka Albert and my daily entries will resume.
