I stayed on guard in my cabin last night while they went to dinner. In fairness, I was given a nice meal and I was looking forward to a nice peaceful time.
We woke up this morning fully refreshed – in the bay of Biscay – to a flat calm sea and blue skies.
First thing I took my bearded one up to my private deck – no. 10 just above our cabin – see photo. This is where I am supposed to do what a boy has to do and find a tree and of course I know there are none but I do know the routine and managed with a chair leg. I had to show some of my younger companions on their first sea voyage, what to do.
After breakfast, as it was such a lovely day, my bearded one and my long haired one joined me on my private deck and we all watched for whales – whatever they are, for quite some time – but this was not in any way as much fun as looking for squirrels, we didn’t see any anyway – they got quite excited when they saw some dolphins – so they alleged – I didn’t.
It was a restful day not much to do, when we returned to our cabin, they kept disappearing for short periods of exploration, I slept as I am only allowed in certain areas of this huge kennel, I quite enjoy the throbbing of the engines and I was snug under my long haired one’s bed.
My other photo today is of the huge kennel aka Cap Finistere. We docked at Santander on time 18:00 and he drove my short kennel Aka Yeti under my direction to Burgos.
