Well, I have to say, my bearded one was a little out of sorts over the past 24 hours, he was suffering from I think it’s called MDS – or Megabyte Deficiency Syndrome. Apparently, this only effects humans and it means that their electronic communicator equipment fails to work properly. I am happy to report that after an early morning visit, I presume to a human vet, he has been cured. I know it makes writing my diary a whole lot easier, his humour has vastly improved. After he returned from this consultation we let go the anchor on my long kennel and pointed it south on The River Avon. The weather was mild and with little wind, I helped my bearded one steer and as we were going with the current we reached some amazing speeds, at least 5 mph and I helped my long haired one at the locks, of which there were eight big double ones before we decided to call it a day a few miles north of Evesham. The countryside has been lovely. My photo today is a diving duck, he gas a blue beak and a crested head, the female is plain brown. Any suggestions as to what tribe he belongs to please.
