It is still blowing a gale and my bearded one is rather reluctant to un-leash my long kennel as we are on the River also it is raining off and on and it is cold and he is a whimp. However, if we have to stay put a little longer, it is a nice place to be. There is plenty of grass for me on our doorstep as it were and I only go out when it isn’t raining and they, my bearded one and long haired one keep thinking of things they need in the town when it isn’t raining and I of course tag along and so I am getting quite a few walks – I don’t like the rain anyway. We managed to get the laundry done and some more provisioning. Apparently, the forecast – whatever that is – is good for tomorrow. We are going to set off early and head south for Tewkesbury, it should take about three days and I will write about it. Today, I thought you would like a look inside my long kennel, my bedroom is not in the picture. My bearded one has lit the fire and is just having a nap. So am I. I am sorry there is no exciting news today but at least you know where I am. Love Douglas

Dear Douglas
My mummy and daddy say that Greece is just wonderful! Beautiful sunshine (not too hot), and they are in a quite fabulous 5 star hotel with absolutely everything they could wish for – except me, of course. However, I am managing to cope without them.
Sorry to hear it is raining – but my mummy and daddy say that they remember that Stratford is a lovely place and why aren’t your long haired and bearded one getting a bit of culture at the theatre?
Love and scratches
Millie
