Well this is really boring OMG I don’t know what has got into them. Obviously we have not moved off our mooring, we are still here as lovely as it is I do enjoy it when we are on the move. Having said that, actually, it is not that bad. I am getting lots of walks, there are squirrels on tap I sometimes go exploring on my own but I do escort them both on walks around the marina and, as I am wont to sleep outside my long kennel on the quay, I get a great deal of attention and sometimes treats from other kennel owners moored nearby. All in all I am a lucky boy.
Now interestingly, since we were here last year the owners of the marina have built a lovely facility for long kennel owners. It is a new building only a hundred or so dog paces from where we are moored and where my short kennel is parked. It is a large wooden structure, a combination of office, social lounge with, fireplace, tables and comfy chairs, tv, wifi, coffee, tea etc., bathroom (including bath) 3x toilets and showers, all for free and washing machines and dryers too all available 24/7 and only the wash machines and dryers need to be paid for with
tokens. This seemed pretty good to me and I have photographed the facilities so that you can see. This is all the good news. The bad news is that because I am a dog I am not allowed in to all this, only the verandah part, but that is OK. This is a good space.
Now my bearded one has been busy painting my long kennel today, specifically the poop deck from where I command operations when we are cruising, it is at the back or the stern as they like to call it. If the weather stays fine he will be doing more tomorrow, possibly the front end or the bow as they like to call it.

Hi Douglas –
It’s probably just as well you aren’t allowed in such a smart place, isn’t it? Still, it looks very nice and no doubt your long-haired one in particular approves.
I’m still moping around at home while mummy and daddy jaunt around Scotland. I’m looking forward to seeing them back on Saturday.
Love & scratches
