Douglas Diary Summer Holidays 2018
Milton Keynes to Cosgrove
The weather is fantastic, it is another summer’s day and I have just come back from taking my bearded one for his walk, we travelled on new and exciting paths and I met a whole variety of my kind, some I liked better than others but we all got on just fine. Now if any of you were concerned about my digestive system that I mentioned yesterday no doubt caused by eating something rotten, which I can never resist, well, I am happy to report that I am very fine this morning, impressively so! By the way there are no squirrels in this Park!
My long haired one returns today and my bearded one is busy cleaning my long kennel and tidying up, we boys on our own can make a mess.
At 12:00 my long haired one returned with daughter Victoria with son Finley and friend Daniel who kindly brought her back. My bearded one bought them lunch and I sat under the table.
By 14:00 they left and so did we. We have very happy memories of Milton Keynes but there comes a time …. The weather was really beautiful and I heard them talking and they said they had never cruised in such good conditions and thats in all of my life! The trouble is a lot of people in their long and short kennels had similar ideas and most appeared to be out for the first time! We decided to moor up and enjoy the little village of Cosgrove. See my photo today.

Well, Douglas – my daddy has told me of your recent adventures – in the shopping centre, in the park and painting. I had to laugh at the photo of your paw print in the paint! I bet your bearded one said something choice . . .
My mummy and daddy are just back from Cornwall – I have had a lovely peaceful week in the sun. They say they have had a good week, too – but they do say they have missed me too, which is nice.

Yes it is not much fun on your own. But, you must remember you are a cat. I am a dog. Now, as I understand it cats are much happier than dogs when they are on their own but I know you are particularly spoilt and sit on your Mummy’s lap watching cricket a lot of the time. I prefer Rugby.

Our Captain was fumbling around on that box on the desk and said he had found a reminder of when your bearded and hairy ones had their feet on solid ground – said he would send it to you to show them ………..

What date is that then.? Before I was born I would imagine
our Captain has been looking through something called his diarear and says the picture was taken even before he was born on 4 Jan 03 – anyway he has now found another one – I think in 07 – we still don’t feature ………
