Douglas Diary Summer Holidays 2018
Stoke Bruerne to Buckby Locks (Bottom)
I must apologise to my readers for the brevity of this and some diary notes for the next few days. I will keep you supplied with pictures in the mean time and a brief factual progress report.
Today we cruised all day to make an appointment in Braunston tomorrow. We lost a Cooley hat off our chimney, to a low hanging branch, we finished the two locks remaining on the Stoke flight alone and first thing almost before the sun was up. I had plenty of walks and the weather was cloudy and mild.
We spent yesterday evening watching a swan couple teaching their six young to fly, my picture is one of the parents checking me out.
Love Douglas x
Hi Douglas, Just a quick e-mail to say hi. You must try a sip of Hobgoblin I gather from John that it is rather good. I forwarded a picture of you to my friend in Wales and she thinks you are gorgeous. Have a good day.
