I am beginning to wonder if humans are always truthful like I am. First there are those nice ladies that appear on my tv screen to tell me the weather (very important to long kennel travel) is going to be fine and then it rains then they will tell me it is going to be raining and then it is sunny like now! Then, my bearded one tells me we are going to leave Stone and we don’t.
We are still here but I am enjoying it very much. My long haired one needed to go and see Mr Morrison and he gave her lots of bags of food while I sat outside and was told not once, how lovely I was and got some pats on the head and lots of smiles, I like it when humans smile at me. It makes me happy, I am not so happy when other dogs smile at me. I don’t think it means the same thing.
Anyway, they decided that we would stay in this lovely and historic village of Stone principally because we have rarely stayed, nearly every time we have been here on the many previous occasions, it has been impossible for us to moor my kennel due to so many other kennels. Today we chose our spot and it is a good one. It is near the shops. It is by a park and Mr Marston lives here too in the The Star Inn and it just happens to be here too.
All this is extremely convenient because my bearded one’s daughter, husband and her family of young are going to come and stay for the weekend and this will be our RV point this evening. They are expected to be arriving quite late.
My photo is me helping my long haired one locking down into Stone Village and at our mooring on guard.
