Hello again, if you are reading this, thank you for returning to read my posts. I am so sorry, I have been struggling to complete a daily entry over the past few days and although I have often been without WiFi and I have accidentally eaten some draft copies, the main reason for the shortfall is that my paws have not touched the ground – well that is just figuratively speaking as, in fact, they have been nowhere else!
Briefly, since leaving my long kennel which is, as I write having its bottom painted, I have been visiting, with my owners of course, lots of different relations of theirs during this last week of our summer holidays in England. A whistle stop tour he says and I am exhausted.
This has involved a lot of travelling in my short kennel over the past few days to different places to sleep in different human kennels and different parts of England to visit, see and smell stuff. I have chased foxes and squirrels, the odd cat and bird and have played with several of my kind, I have helped muck out horse stables (tasty) and played with some horses, I have been shopping and been on many walks, sat under many different tables but I feel these everyday happenings now, that we are not travelling on my long kennel, will be of no great general interest. I hope you will understand therefore why my diary entries have not been recently, an every day occurrence.
Tomorrow we are catching the huge kennel that will take us back across the water to Spain. We will be travelling again in my short kennel stopping at places on our way to my home. I hope to write again then
My photo today is me and my friend Basil playing one of our favourite games of chase. Basil is from the Labrador tribe.
