I stayed with my bearded one’s sister and her family last night as it is not that far from Portsmouth where the huge kennel awaits. Here lives a cat called Mr Rooney (nothing to do with football) . Mr Rooney moves out when I move in as he does not like me and his dinner table is set up for him outside – my picture today is me having my breakfast (his dinner).
After breakfast I took my bearded one on a squirrel hunt, he can’t run fast enough but I very nearly caught one. We also popped into the stables to say hello to my new friends, the horses.
I actually managed to take my long haired one for a half-hour rabbit hunt on the Downs before we left for Portsmouth in my short kennel. Neither of us managed to catch one.
We had a relatively stress free ride in my short kennel to Portsmouth, the traffic was as usual horrendous on the A27. You may recall that this time last year we were making the same journey and we were still on the A27 not moving when the huge kennel sailed away without us!
All is well this year, we boarded and slipped anchor on time at 17:00 and have just passed the British Naval Fleet, my other photo today is HMS Queen Elizabeth ll. Our latest aircraft carrier, but we have no planes, yet.
I like our cabin on this huge kennel, I choose to sleep under the bed of my long haired one.
The sea is very calm as we cruise around the Isle of Wight. I will tell you more of our journey tomorrow I had better send this now before we lose contact.

A shame you couldn’t sail in the Queen Elizabeth. We are not sure what category of kennel that is but our controller says he has been onboard her when she was being built at Rosyth. Safe travels x
Yes I remember he told my bearded one that he had visited it when it was being built. It is quite pretty, I thin’ it would be classified as a mega kennel.

Oh you naughty boy, good job your long haired one didn’t catch you on the table. Hope you enjoyed the cats breakfast, ha ha, bet you got lots of satisfaction. Didn’t realise that you actually missed the large kennel last year. What a hoot!
